The Bark Cafe and Wall.E
The Bark Cafe at Upper Changi Road had a really good ambience for chilling out. there were a lot of families there and it was a rather quaint place. the crowd wasnt rowdy or anything, just a peaceful bunch of people. haha but most people drove there. they had their own parking lots which was quite ample considering the amount of customers they had. service was very good plus there was a very cool and pretty girl who served us. she had a lip ring and a heart shaped tattoo on her hand. food was okay, price was alright too, not too steep. would definitely go back there again to chill with more people.
theres bus service 2 if you want to go there. alight after the changi women's prison(i think). aiya its somewhere around there. haha didnt take many photos but really quite a nice place.
then we went to downtown east for Wall.E. my first time at the cinema there. its a really cold place haha we were comparing the complex there to vivo and marina. think vivo still wins. i think the vivo management is crazy to not control the temperature properly. the theatre had ample leg room so its acty quite comfortable.
Wall.E was quite good. very cute animations. you would expect that robots would have limited expressions since they didnt really have mouths and eyebrows and stuff but those 2 and the rest of the others were full of expressions. damn cute! i was yawning throughout though, coz the message they were trying to convey was a lil boring. the same ol problems of too much trash, obesity, lousy politicians and stuff were being played out in the movie. but ok the sweet and simple love story between wall.e and eva was quite cute really. animation was damn good i'd say. pixar did a good job here.
wall.e's really quite cute. haha
i wanna watch 12lotus but giap refused to. wah lao...
